Daily Learning Contract
- Topic: Professional Presentation
- Objective: Students will give an oral professional presentation about career and college exploration using appropriate technology, then use feedback to revise one evidence gap.
- TEKS: d(4)(C), d(8)(B), d(8)(C)
- Demonstration of Learning: Private 2-3-minute oral/AAC career brief, two-page delivery/revision record, visible revision, transfer action, and six-criterion Major 2 self-score; the Day 2 plan remains in its original location.
50-Minute Flow
- Final check - 5 min. Confirm the six speaking jobs, source labels, rubric, route, technology, backup, and privacy boundary.
- Parallel delivery block - 22 min. Use small groups, teacher conferences, private recordings, AAC, or a mixed route schedule. Do not run an impossible serial roster.
- Feedback - 7 min. Record one effective choice and one exact gap or unclear point.
- Revision and transfer - 11 min. Show before/after, explain the improvement, and name one item, question, or dated action to carry forward.
- Private submit - 5 min. Submit the Day 4 communicated evidence, two-page record, and self-score once. The teacher scores the Day 2 plan from its original location.
Key and Access
Score evidence, organization, source labels, audience and time fit, appropriate technology, and visible revision. Do not score accent, eye contact, camera use, public confidence, memorization, disability, or visual polish. A written plan or transcript may scaffold access but does not replace assessable oral/AAC evidence unless an authorized accommodation defines the route.
