Before class

  • Give each student the saved infographic, the two-page evaluation printed double-sided, a pencil, and one device for the practice quiz and submission.
  • Post the Emerging Plant-Tech Evidence Guide digitally; default print count is 0. For a no-device class, print one guide per pair. Post the rubric digitally.
  • Open the unpublished retryable practice quiz and combined Major assignment. Keep the evaluation individual; pairs may rehearse the parent/specialty distinction.
  • The optional BLS Agricultural Engineers video sits inside a closed disclosure. Test it or leave it closed; the fixed guide carries every required fact.
  • Do not send students to job boards or an open search.

Full-credit reasoning connects a named technology to a changed task, uses two dated facts, and states that the parent-occupation figure cannot prove an exact specialty's DFW starting pay or guarantee local hiring.

“Emerging” may describe changing tasks and tools inside an established occupation. It does not require claiming that an entire occupation appeared recently.

Canvas interaction
