Individual or team of 2–6 · Video, portfolio, and presentation
Community Service Video
You will make a short video about your chapter's community service.
What you make or do
- Create a video of no more than two minutes showing your TSA chapter's involvement in a community service project.
- Prepare a PDF portfolio with the project overview, references, copyright checklist, consent forms, and work log.
This year’s challenge
No separate annual theme is posted. Your chapter chooses the community service project shown in the video.
How the competition works
Before the event
Choose and document an actual chapter service project, produce the video, and submit its accessible link and portfolio PDF by the national pre-conference deadline.
First round
Judges evaluate the submitted video and documentation to select semifinalists.
If you advance
Give a seven-minute presentation and answer questions for three minutes about the service project and how you made the video.
Know before you choose: The video shows your chapter's participation, not just information about a cause. Clearly show the year at the beginning and collect required consent forms for people shown.
How your work is scored
Judges assess production quality, clarity and significance of the project, creativity, documentation, and the semifinal presentation and interview.
