๐ŸŽฌ Activity: Create your own CoSpaces VR Story!

For this activity, you will create your own VR story in CoSpaces by representing 3 scenes/chapters in one of your current ELAR novels including, The Giver, Refugee, and The Outsiders.

Your CoSpaces story should:

  • Have at least three different scenes.
  • Use CoBlocks to move characters, add speech/thoughts, and change scenes automatically.
  • Each scene must include:
    • >= 6 Objects
    • At least two animated
    • At least one moving on a path
    • A 360 image or Environment
    • Background Sound

Think About:

  • Brief Description of the Scene: What happens in this scene? Why is it important?
  • Key Objects: What objects need to be included? Why are these objects important to the scene?
  • Background Environment/360 Image: What is the setting? What kind of background or 360 image will you use? (e.g., forest, cityscape, classroom) Why did you choose this environment?
  • Characters and Expressions: What are their emotions or expressions? How will you show these in the VR space?
  • Animations and Path Movements: What path movements will characters or objects take? (e.g., walking, running, flying)
