If your class uses Xello, begin with saved careers, favorite clusters, or Matchmaker results. If not, use CareerOneStop or the BLS Occupation Finder. You are choosing one career to investigate, not making a permanent life decision.

Compare three
For each career, write:
- the career name;
- one reason it may fit you;
- one thing you already know;
- one thing you still need to investigate.
Fit check: What kind of tasks hold my attention? What do people ask me for help with? Do I want to work mostly with people, information, tools, or ideas? Could I explain this career to a visitor without pretending I already know everything?
Submit
Type your three careers and finish this sentence:
I am choosing _____ because _____. Before I represent it, I still need to learn _____.
