Final Export and Turn-In
Day 5: Test, revise, and submit
1. Test without explaining
Play the GIF for another person. Ask what the hero is doing, what people can count on the hero to do, and where the motion is too fast, too slow, or hard to follow.
2. Make one specific revision
Use the test result. Change one part of the timing, frame holds, in-betweens, silhouette, color, or loop transition. Do not restart the project today.
3. Save both files
- Download
Lastname-Firstname-HeroName-Piskel.piskeland move it to your class storage location. - Export
Lastname-Firstname-HeroName-Piskel.gif. - Open the downloaded GIF. Check that it plays and the ending looks complete or returns cleanly to the beginning.
4. Upload and reflect
- Select Start Assignment, upload the final GIF, and check that the preview opens.
- Add both reflections in one submission comment:
The choice that communicates my hero's promise best is _____ because _____.
After feedback, I changed _____. This made the animation _____. - Submit and confirm that Canvas shows the file.
Final check: The action shows what people can count on the hero to do • timing is intentional • the loop closes cleanly or the ending looks complete • the source file is saved • the GIF name is correct • both reflections are included.
