Day 2: Watch and try the tools

Watch the tutorial before the Practice Wall. Keep Piskel open in another tab so you can pause the video and try each tool. If your teacher connected Edpuzzle, follow the Edpuzzle directions instead.

Open the tutorial in a new tab if the embedded player does not load.

1. Play the full tutorial. Pause when you need time to try a tool.
2. Find the canvas, pen, eraser, frame list, duplicate-frame control, onion skin, preview, and fps control.
3. Replay a section or turn on captions when you need to see a step again.
4. No separate upload is required here. Your practice loop is the tool check.

Tool check: I can add a frame, duplicate a frame, preview the animation, change fps, and find the save/export controls.

Next: Use those controls to make the 1 to 2 second Practice Wall loop, then save the editable .piskel source before leaving class.
