What Your Storyboard Should Show

  • 6 panels that match your plot diagram, or 4 panels if your teacher approved that route.
  • Clear beginning, middle, climax, and resolution.
  • Simple drawings with short captions.
  • The hero's promise shown through one visible action and result.
Example storyboard: Doggo chasing ball and finding bone
Planning example: simple drawings + short captions make motion easier to animate. Use the current 6-panel route or your approved 4-panel route.

⏱️ Work Time: Plan Before You Animate

  • Big, readable shapes; consistent character.
  • Short captions only when needed.
  • Plan a clean loop (ending echoes the start).
Sentence stems: First, _____. Then, _____. The action shows _____ because _____.
Word bank: pose • frame • motion • timing • layer • loop
