OPTION · Partner Draw

Back to back, one student describes and one draws. Nobody gets to point, and that is the lesson.

🎒 What you need: The Partner Draw slide deck, blank paper, and pencils.

1. Seat partners back to back. One is the describer, one is the drawer.
2. Show the describer a shape from the deck. The drawer must not see the screen.
3. Words only — no gestures, and the describer may not name the object. The drawer may ask questions.
4. Compare the drawing to the original, then swap roles and run a second shape.
5. Debrief: which words actually worked? Almost always it is the specific ones and the ones about position.

✅ Wrap up: Land it on the point: precise language is a technical skill, not a personality trait. You will call back to this all year.

Espalda con espalda, un estudiante describe y otro dibuja. Nadie puede señalar, y esa es la lección.

1. Sienta a las parejas espalda con espalda. Uno describe y el otro dibuja.
2. Muéstrale una figura de la presentación a quien describe. Quien dibuja no debe ver la pantalla.
3. Solo palabras — nada de gestos, y quien describe no puede decir el nombre del objeto. Quien dibuja sí puede preguntar.
4. Comparen el dibujo con el original, luego cambien de papel y hagan una segunda figura.
5. Comenten: ¿qué palabras sí funcionaron? Casi siempre son las específicas y las que hablan de posición.
